Yes, I've seen that video. Gibson can get ebony for the true historic LP Custom that costs a fortune. For me this is just a matter of saving costs in manufacturing. Fretting an ebony fingerboard implies the usage of less automation and more manual labor, and this for me is the reason. I don't like the feel of richlite.
