WebJun 20, 2024 · The large motor carrier company I used to work for required us to have a pre-trip inspection at the start of the day (minimum 3 minutes) and a post-trip inspection at the end of the day (minimum 30 minutes). Is this still true if you have your own motor carrier authority? I heard only one inspection is required by federal law.
