WebNov 19, 2010 · It goes in the slots on either side of the front mounted skirt - one slot can be seen in the third photo. The belly pan has arrows molded into it showing where the 4 bolts go. You may need to remove the pan and reshape it so it will be flat. It looks like that bend has set into the plastic.

WebJul 7, 2024 · The front belly pan bolts should thread into nuts that are in cages. If those cages are missing you'll have to reach thru from the side to get at them. It can be done as I have one cage missing. The back should just be two bolts. I'd start at the back, use a floor jack to support it remove the bolts let it down and move to the front. WebDec 8, 2015 · Use one hammer to pound the claw of the second hammer or pry bar claw between the washer and plastic then pull like pulling a nail. I have not actually done this so not sure just how much effort is required. Not sure how much that plastic belly costs but pulling those rivets out isn't going to be easy.
WebNov 30, 2024 · You shouldn't have to pull the belly pan or any part of it to change the filter. Just remove the four bolts and take it out. You will be working at arms length. Any fluid in the reverser will drain onto the belly pan and thence wherever when the filter cover comes loose. Swab out the inside with (clean) rags while the filter is out.
